Take me home: The Newton County Animal Shelter’s pet of the week is a dark-brindle terrier mix puppy. Also available for adoption are a 2-year-old Chihuahua; an 8-month-old beagle; a 10-month-old yellow Lab mix; a Jack Russell; a 6-month-old Vizia mix; a 3-month-old terrier; a great Dane; some chow mix puppies; a beagle mix; a black and white Lab mix; a 9-month-old black lab; a boxer; a brown Lab mix; a black Lab mix; and other mixed breeds. The shelter also has cats and kittens for adoption.
