Living ‘Under Grace’

"Sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace" (Romans 6:14). Nearly 2000 years ago, Paul wrote that to Christians, to people he included with himself when he said, "We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life" (Romans 6:4-5).

Abiding Grace welcomes Easter guest speakers

Cocoa Beach. South Padre. Panama City. Cancun. Acapulco. Covington? One of these Spring Break locations is not like the other ones. But for a group of freshman college students from Martin Luther College in Minnesota, they wouldn't want to be anywhere other than Covington. From March 5 to 14 these young ladies will be joining members of Abiding Grace spreading a message that is not like the other ones, the message of Christ crucified and risen. The message of Easter. A message which makes less sense than Spring Break in Covington. The message of salvation for the whole world.

During the residential population boom of the past decade, Springfield experienced astronomical growth that compelled them to pursue the 2005 purchase of their current facility at 3001 Old Salem Road in Conyers. The move to Conyers and the subsequent return to Covington were inspired by the same pastor, Eric W. Lee, Sr., who is only the sixth ...

Christmas is coming

It's no myth the holiday season can be stressful. The pressure to decorate. The anxiety that comes with cooking another tasty holiday meal. However, these are all just distractions to what Christmas is all about. People tend to forget the purpose is to celebrate the birth of Jesus. It's a time to express love and to fellowship, and churches in Covington have the right idea. Here are some with events ...

A native of Covington, he was born to the late John Henry and Perrylee Norrington. Although he accepted Christ at age 18 and knew he had a calling on his life to preach, he did not come to terms with it until the death of his parents.
