Covington is a wonderful place to live, a place where it's easy to forget how many people are in our community because it still maintains a small-town vibe. But it's not exactly the place to go for entertainment on the weekends. Most of our staff live locally and travel out of Covington for entertainment. The Newton County Recreation Commission and the Covington Rotary Club have taken on a massive project - the building of a new sports complex in the county. The complex will contain the "Miracle Field," which is a baseball diamond built specifically to handle the needs of our handicapped children who live in the county.
