Lions Club makes 'Miracle' donation

The Miracle League field being built in Newton County got a nice boost Thursday when the Covington and Oxford Lions Clubs and the Lions Club International Foundation donated $75,000 to the effort. The money will go to finish construction of the concession stand and restrooms, said Richard Brown, president of the Covington Lions Club.
