That's the spirit

The Newton competition cheerleading squad returned from the National Cheerleading Association cheerleading camp at the University of Georgia last week with some new hardware. In addition, the team earned a berth at the NCA Senior and Junior High School National Championship at Dallas in January.

Rams seek first region win, face Redan

So far in 2008, Newton has showed flashes of brilliance but has little to show for it. Stuck in the unforgiving Region 2-AAAAA, Ram coach Nick Collins doesn't use that as an excuse.
