Action Ministries offers training for Smart Lunch Smart Kid program

With the school year coming to an end, the Smart Lunch Smart Kid program is setting up sites throughout the county. So far, lunch sites are being set up in downtown Porterdale, at Covington Mill United Methodist Church and Allen Memorial United Methodist Church in Oxford. A mobile unit will serve at least one mobile trailer park on Highway 36, and Action Ministries is partnering with the summer feeding program at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
