Mr. Herbert Starr Dial, 87, of Oxford passed away at his residence Friday, May 20, 2011. He was born March 17, 1924 to the late Starr William and Eva Sockwell Dial in Oxford, Georgia. Mr. Dial attended Rehoboth Baptist Church formerly Salem Baptist Church and was a lifelong resident of Oxford. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rachel Cowan his brother, Albert Dial and another brother, Rayford Dial.

June Harwell Cochran of Sandy Springs, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away suddenly on May 17. Her sweet, friendly, positive and warm personality will be missed by many, including her husband Charles P. Cochran, son Dr. Charles P.
