William Herbert White of Oxford passed away October 22, 2014. He was born November 19, 1934 in Monticello, GA to the late W.A. and Lorene (Lewis) White. Mr. White was an Eagle Scout and a veteran of the US Army. He graduated from the University of Georgia School of Business as well as LSU School of Banking. He was a successful and respected member in the banking field, retiring after four decades from Main Street Bank. Mr. White was a long-time member of Allen Memorial United Methodist Church.

Mr. Henry Starr Corley, of Covington, passed away, Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the age of 93. He was born February 19, 1921 in the Starrsville Community of Newton County to the late William H. Corley, Sr. and Leila Wright Corley and was also preceded in death by his brother, William H. Corley, Jr. and sister, Katheryn Corley Mills.
