Alison M. (Bell) Campbell, 56, of Covington died tragically Jan. 28. She was born in 1955 in Fulton County. She was preceded in death by grandparents Robert and Dorothy Jamieson and parents Walter McCoy and Carol Bowman. Mrs. Campbell was a dedicated employee of the Conyers Walmart for 13 years until the late 2000s. She was a bright, loving woman. Her greatest accomplishments in life were her grandchildren. She was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, grandma, aunt and friend. Mrs. Campbell always welcomed everyone with open arms.

She met and married Henry Frederick Nicholson during World War II in Sydney. After the war they settled their family in Fitzgerald, moved south to Lake Worth, Fla., and eventually moved to Covington 22 years ago.
