Jeffery Keith Broxton, Sr., of Covington, passed away January 4, 2015, at the age of 56. Jeff was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church, in Eatonton, until his sickness prohibited from attending. He supported all church activities, but missions were closest to his heart. Once diagnosed with ALS, Jeff's main focus was leading as many people to Christ, as possible. He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather, who was a dedicated family man and always cared more about his family and friends than himself. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, David C. Broxton, Sr.

Della Astin Kitchens, 93, of Porterdale, passed away peacefully January 2, 2015. Della was an active member of Porterdale Baptist Church prior to her declining health. She retired from Bibb Manufacturing after 35 years of service and was member and past president of Porterdale Woman's Club. In her later years she enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren. Jean Babington Remley, 98, passed away peacefully at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle December 31, 2014 surrounded by loved ones. Born November 22, 1916 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Mrs. Remley was a resident of Covington since 1939. She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Joseph M. Remley (Joe). Survivors include one daughter Jeannette R. Harris and son-in-law, Ned Harris of Monticello, and one granddaughter Sharon Jean Kinman-Hall, and husband Rod Hall of Lawrenceville.
