J.C. "Shep" Shepard Jr., 89, of Social Circle, passed to be with his beloved wife of 50 years Elizabeth "Liz" Clay Shepard on August 25, 2014. Mrs. Louise Thomason

Louise Thomason of Covington, passed away Aug. 24, 2014, at the age of 84. Ms. Thomason was an active member of New Life Praise Center, in Covington, and was a dedicated employee of Lithonia Lighting for 38 years. Following her work at Lithonia Lighting, she dedicated herself to caring for handicapped children. Ms. Thomason was a giving lady, and constantly gave of her time to help those less fortunate. She was loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Preceding her in death was her brother, Thomas McCord.
