Dillard Rowe of Oxford, passed away October 2, 2015, at the age of 80. Mr. Rowe graduated from Newton County High School in 1955, and he proudly served in the National Guard. He managed the Strand Theater for six years and was a member of the band Dixie Swingettes. In addition, he was a disc jockey for more than 50 years, working with WMOC, WGFS, WKUN and WMOQ.
