Charles R. "Chuck" Thacker Jr., 39, of Heyworth, Ill. passed away Monday, Dec. 28 at the University of Chicago Hospital. His private burial will take place at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Rev. Kurt Flora will officiate.

Chuck was born July 1, 1970 to Charles and Melanie Coody Thacker in Covington. They survive. He married Lori Earl on Nov. 4, 2000 in Kissimmee, Fla. She survives.
