Mrs. Linda Hollis, 68, of Covington, passed away on Dec. 29. Mrs. Hollis was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend to many. Her strong faith and love of the Lord kept her strong throughout her entire life. Her ministry encouraged and touched many in the community. She enjoyed puzzles, ceramics, quilting, gardening, crafts, and sewing. She also loved gospel music. Mrs. Hollis was preceded in death by her grandson William Todd Moss; parents Batson and Jessie Lee (Garrett) Goolsby; and brother Bob Willis.

Mr. Larry Chester Hepner of Covington, 72, passed away Jan. 2. Mr. Hepner was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed both watching Georgia Tech football and the Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, surfing the Internet and visiting old museums and historical sites.
