Mrs. Nettie Mae Digby, age 84, of Covington passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle. She was born February 7, 1930 in Porterdale to Archie and Minnie Ivey McCullough who have preceded her in death. Mrs. Digby worked at home until her children were grown and then she worked for C.R. Bard for 2 years and Stanley Tool for 14 years. She was Methodist by faith and a member of Gaither's United Methodist Church. Mrs. Digby loved her family very much; she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
Thornton Fears, Sr. was born August 12, 1943 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Lonnie (Mattie) Fears, Sr. He was educated in the Rockdale County School System and graduated from J.P. Carr High School in 1962.

Martin Williamson, age 58 of Oxford, passed away July 13, 2014. A native of Macon, Martin graduated from Monroe Academy in Forsyth where he played both football and basketball. He had been employed by Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. since 1979. Martin was an avid golfer, and he loved fishing on Lake Oconee. He enjoyed his friends and was always willing to help anyone at any time. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and son who always put his family and friends before himself.

William "Bill" Henry Knight passed away at his home in Port Orange, Fla. on December 29, 2008. Mr. Knight was born on December 31, 1933 in Staunton, Va., the son of James and Mary (Bowen) Knight. He retired in 1972 from the United States Army after serving his country for 23 years. He enjoyed traveling and cooking for friends and family. Bill was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, a life time member of the VFW and the American Legion.
