Alice Gruenhut of Oxford, passed away September 30, 2015, at the age of 68. Mrs. Gruenhut enjoyed traveling, playing games and dearly loved animals. She loved her family and cherished the time spent with them. Alice will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Wayne and Sarah Fleming.
Clara King, of Social Circle, died September 29, 2015. She retired from Tucker High School where she worked in the cafeteria for many years. Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee King; son, Edward S. King; parents, George W. and Vera Watson Smith; brother, James Blissett. Surviving are son, Walter Phillip King, of Social Circle; sister-in-law, Barbara Ann King Carter, of Social Circle; grandsons, David King Saladino, and George W. King; many nieces and nephews.
Stephen Andrew Chambers, 59, of Covington, passed away September 27, 2015. Andy was a faithful member of Canaan Baptist Church. In 58 years, he never once missed a Sunday School class. While in high school, Andy began working for The Covington News, and it was there that he met his wife, Cathy. Following his employment with the newspaper, he worked for Naylor for 30 years, before his most recent service at Marshall's Distribution Center. Jill Elizabeth Beck Bramble, age 39, of Roswell passed away September 20, 2015. She was born January 19, 1976 in Tucker, Georgia. Jill graduated from Gatewood Academy in Eatonton in 1995 and from Brenau College for Women in 1999. She worked as a corporate recruiter in and around the Atlanta area her entire career. Jill enjoyed vacationing at the beach and loved her family and friends very much. She was preceded in death her father, Dr. Earl Beck.

Edna Knapp, of Newborn, passed away September 6, 2015, at the age of 88. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, playing bingo and her Atlanta Braves. However, her favorite thing was being at the ballfield watching her great-grandkids "play ball." Edna was a very special lady who was loved by many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Knapp; and parents, Edwin and Stella Tamm.
James "Jimmy" Douglas Womack, 68 of Porterdale, passed away peacefully at his home, Wednesday, August 26, 2015. He was born in Porterdale to the late Felton and Mary Lewis Womack. Jimmy was a loving husband, father, Papaw, brother and friend. He was the most kind hearted man you would ever know, always took care of everyone he met. Jimmy loved the lake, fishing and working in his garden. He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 41 years Sandy Womack in 2012, son Harold Womack, and daughters Tammy Daniels and Lisa Womack.
