Mr. Henry Starr Corley, of Covington, passed away, Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the age of 93. He was born February 19, 1921 in the Starrsville Community of Newton County to the late William H. Corley, Sr. and Leila Wright Corley and was also preceded in death by his brother, William H. Corley, Jr. and sister, Katheryn Corley Mills. Mr. Corley was a surveyor for the Georgia Department of Transportation and a veteran of the United States Army Airforce. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd.

Mr. Kenneth Felton "Tump" Bradford, age 74, of Oxford passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014. He was born November 3, 1939 in Lawrenceville to the late William Howard and Jewell Lindsey Bradford. Mildred "Mrs. Millie" Maloy, a lifelong resident of Porterdale, passed away September 27, 2014, at the age of 95. She was a member of Porterdale Baptist Church and the Porterdale Woman's Club. Mrs. Millie was known for her sharp mind and quick wit, and therefore gained the nickname, "The General." She loved her family dearly and especially cherished her role as a grandmother. She was loved and will be greatly missed by her family. Mrs. Millie was preceded in death by her husband, Carl B. Maloy; parents, Leo and Candace Shaw; and her brother, Marshall "Pete" Shaw.
