Mr. George (Skeet) Harper, 93, of Porterdale, passed away April 30. Mr. Harper worked for Bibb Manufacturing Company for 20 years, before retiring from Hercules, in 1983, after 14 years of service. He was Past Master of the Pace Masonic Lodge No. 558 F&AM, in Porterdale, where he was a member for 60 years. In addition, he was a faithful member of County Line Baptist Church.

Zachery Bernard Robertson was born to Clyde L Robertson Sr. and Catherine Wright Robertson in Atlanta, Georgia, on June 7, 1956. Mrs. Prosser and her husband Anson, owned and operated Prosser Variety Store, in Mansfield, for more than 25 years. She enjoyed reading, writing, solving crossword puzzles, meeting new people and visiting with old friends when they came into their store.
Mr. Willie James Richards was born January 24, 1943 to the late Mr. & Mrs. John Wesley (Annie Lavaughn) Richards Sr. in Jasper County; he was one of six children, three brothers and two sisters. Two brothers preceded him in death, Eddie Willis and John Wesley Jr. Growing up in Jasper County, he attended the Jasper County Schools.
