Thomas Busbee, age 85 of Mansfield, passed away July 22, 2014. Mr. Busbee was a veteran of the United States Army. He attended Eastridge Community Church, was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and enjoyed fishing. Mr. Busbee was a wonderful husband and a good father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. She was born February 7, 1930 in Porterdale to Archie and Minnie Ivey McCullough who have preceded her in death. Mrs. Digby worked at home until her children were grown and then she worked for C.R. Bard for two years and Stanley Tool for 14 years. She was Methodist by faith and a member of Gaither's United Methodist Church. George (Stump) Cown, age 70 of Loganville passed away Jan. 30, 2009. Mr. Cown was a longtime member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church and was a member of Grayson United Methodist Church. Mr. Cown graduated from Grayson High in 1956, served in the U.S. Navy for two years and retired from AT&T and C.R. Bard Medical in Covington. After retirement, he became known in the Grayson Community as "Santa" to many children.
