Mary A. Leasure, formerly of 933 Rosedale Avenue, Kingston, Tennessee, age 84, passed away suddenly on September 10, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl "Lucky" Leasure, in 1997. She moved to Atlanta in 2003 to join her children, daughter Barbara Leasure and son-in-law Dr. Michael Henry; son Steven Leasure, and daughter-in-law Holly and their son, Adam; and son Michael Leasure and daughter-in-law Dr. Renee Butler and their children, Matthew and Christopher Leasure. She lived independently in Conyers, Georgia, until May 2013 when she joined Steve, Holly and Adam in Douglasville.

Betty Christian Thomas, 84, of Covington, passed away September 8, 2014. Mrs. Thomas was a faithful member of Bethany Presbyterian Church. She was very active in various church functions, and was a member of the church choir for several years. She was a longtime, dedicated employee of Steele-Jones Insurance Agency in Covington. Mrs. Thomas enjoyed spending time in her flower garden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ralph Thomas; parents Frank Buford and Ellen Ruth (Cowan) Christian; sisters Mary Beth Steele, Jean O'Neal; and her brother, Frank E. Christian.

Mrs. Reid was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to all. But most of all, she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a long time member of Grace Baptist Church.
