Rebecca Alexander

Rebecca "Becky" Alexander, 88, of Covington, died Sept. 14. Mr. and Mrs. Alexander were the owners of Covington Jewelry and Alexander Memorials. She served as the director of food services for the Newton County School System. Her cinnamon rolls and chili were legendary with school children. She was a member of the Pilot Club and the Eastern Star. She loved her family. She loved to cook and also enjoyed traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents William Bryant and Lillie (Thomas) Dobbs; and her son Tommy Alexander.

Mrs. Helen Knight, 84, of Covington passed away September 15, 2012. She was born in Waycross, Georgia to the late Ocie Clark and Corrine Piper Lowe on February 25, 1928.
