Ms. Thomason was an active member of New Life Praise Center, in Covington, and was a dedicated employee of Lithonia Lighting for 38 years. Following her work at Lithonia Lighting, she dedicated herself to caring for handicapped children. Ms. Thomason was a giving lady, and constantly gave of her time to help those less fortunate. She retired from Lilburn Middle School as the lunchroom manager in December 1994. She obtained a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Certificate from the University of Georgia and was a member of Mountain Park Baptist Church in Lilburn since 1962.
