Pennington and Annie Gay Pennington, she graduated from high school and business school. Fred Lamar Covington

Lieutenant Colonel Fred Lamar Covington, 79, passed away on January 31, 2015. Colonel Covington was a 20-year veteran of the United States' Air Force, serving as a Senior Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO) and Systems' Management Engineer. During his military career he served in the Vietnam War from 1972 to 1973, where he completed 43 combat missions in the F-105 Wild Weasel, for a total of 128 combat flight hours.

Martha King Moody, 88, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014, in Nixa, Montana. She was born in Covington and lived here much of her life. She was married for 61 years to Frank Moody, Jr., who preceded her in death in 2007. Mrs. Moody was a pastor's wife, and at various times, she had jobs as a secretary and substitute teacher.
