Mr. George (Skeet) Harper, 93, of Porterdale, passed away April 30. Mr. Harper worked for Bibb Manufacturing Company for 20 years, before retiring from Hercules, in 1983, after 14 years of service. He was Past Master of the Pace Masonic Lodge No. 558 F&AM, in Porterdale, where he was a member for 60 years. In addition, he was a faithful member of County Line Baptist Church.

Mr. Joe Hoyt Brewer, age 64, of Mansfield passed away March 22, 2013 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to James Hoyt and Mae Pitts Brewer on September 3, 1948. Mr. Brewer enjoyed working with his hands and could build anything. He loved spending time with his family and working in his garden.

She was born in 1925, in Covington, the daughter of Mary and Charlie Wilson, the youngest of three girls. She was raised in Covington and attended Covington High and the Atlanta Business School.
