Mrs. Brenda P. Sweat, age 74, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015. She was born December 17, 1940 in Covington to Kermit and Jeanette Calvert Pratt who have preceded her in death. Mrs. Sweat worked for the City of Covington for many years and was a retired purchasing agent for DeKalb County. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church and was an avid reader, a seamstress and a gourmet cook. Mrs. Sweat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
