Oscar L. Holmes

Oscar L. Holmes of Covington, passed away May 26, 2011, at the age of 81. Mr. Holmes was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War. He was a member of Red Oak United Methodist Church. He was a licensed insurance agent, since 1955, and his license was still active at the time of his death. James Roger Gladden

James Roger Gladden, born February 2nd, 1940, peacefully passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 17th, 2011. Roger was born in Shelby, North Carolina. He graduated from Wake Forest University and John Marshall Law School. He served as a second lieutenant in the United States Navy. In 1989, Roger and Lorrie moved from Atlanta to Oxford, where he served nine years as a councilman for the city of Oxford.
