Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" McIntosh Hooten, age 86, a lifelong resident of Covington passed away July 2, 2015. She was born February 15, 1929 in Jersey, Georgia to William and Mary Higginbotham McIntosh. Mrs. Hooten was a member of the North Covington United Methodist Church, joining in 1954. She worked for Bibb Manufacturing for 45 years and enjoyed working in her garden and with her flowers around her home.
