He was born in Oxford, Georgia to the late Charles Arthur and Sadie Ruth Bostwick Cason on October 31, 1934. Mr. Cason served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Henry Starr Corley, of Covington, passed away, Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the age of 93. He was born February 19, 1921 in the Starrsville Community of Newton County to the late William H. Corley, Sr. and Leila Wright Corley and was also preceded in death by his brother, William H. Corley, Jr. and sister, Katheryn Corley Mills. Mr. Corley was a surveyor for the Georgia Department of Transportation and a veteran of the United States Army Airforce. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd.

Mr. Bradford served in the United States Navy and was a member of Central Community Church. He was retired from General Motors and also worked for a number of years following his retirement at General Mills. Mr. Bradford loved to work in his garden and loved his family very much. He was preceded in death by his sister Gloria Fincannon and his grandson Tucker Hankins.

Mrs. Millie was known for her sharp mind and quick wit, and therefore gained the nickname, "The General." She loved her family dearly and especially cherished her role as a grandmother. Married to Grady Townsend for 59 years, the couple honeymooned in Daytona, and visited there every year around their anniversary. Mrs. Townsend enjoyed shopping, but most of all she loved being with her family. She was a member of Heritage Hills Baptist Church in Conyers and will be remembered as a great cook – always preparing more than enough. She moved to Covington from Stockbridge in 1996 and was retired from Woolworth Department store where she worked as a cashier for 17 years. Mrs. Bishop was a member of the Gospel Mission in Almon.
