Mary Kitchens Lassiter, 86, of Covington, passed away Jan. 9, at Dogwood Forest Assisted Living, in Gainesville. Mary was born in 1926 in Newton County, the daughter of Thomas Watson and Genie Strickland Kitchens. A dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker, she loved cooking and taking care of her family.
