A woman of strong Christian faith, Mrs. Davis was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Covington, where she faithfully attended the Murphy's Gang Sunday School class. Our beloved Dorothy Ellen Mcknight Blackshear was born July 29, 1935 in Porterdale, Georgia to the late Mr. & Mrs. Carlton (Bessie Kate Brewer) McKnight, Sr. She was one of nine children and was preceded in death by four brothers (Arbie, Carlton, Jr., Charlie and Arthur Mcknight) and two sisters (Gennie Munford and Pearlie Adams).

Steve Temples of Covington, passed away January 7, 2015, at the age of 67. Steve worked in the construction industry his entire life and was very passionate about his work. He and his wife, Linda, enjoyed traveling, and made lots of memorable snow skiing trips. Additionally, he enjoyed showing Western Pleasure horses and riding his Harley. Jeffery Keith Broxton, Sr., of Covington, passed away January 4, 2015, at the age of 56. Jeff was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church, in Eatonton, until his sickness prohibited from attending. He supported all church activities, but missions were closest to his heart. Once diagnosed with ALS, Jeff's main focus was leading as many people to Christ, as possible. He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather, who was a dedicated family man and always cared more about his family and friends than himself.
