Our beloved Dorothy Ellen Mcknight Blackshear was born July 29, 1935 in Porterdale, Georgia to the late Mr. & Mrs. Carlton (Bessie Kate Brewer) McKnight, Sr. She was one of nine children and was preceded in death by four brothers (Arbie, Carlton, Jr., Charlie and Arthur Mcknight) and two sisters (Gennie Munford and Pearlie Adams).
At 90 years of age, and after a full life, Anna Mary Hutchison Senn died on December 21, 2014. Born in Baltimore on December 17, 1924 she was the daughter of Edward N. and Alice "Peggy" (nee Blottenberger) Hutchison.
Steve Temples of Covington, passed away January 7, 2015, at the age of 67. Steve worked in the construction industry his entire life and was very passionate about his work. He and his wife, Linda, enjoyed traveling, and made lots of memorable snow skiing trips. Additionally, he enjoyed showing Western Pleasure horses and riding his Harley. Steve cherished his family dearly and especially adored all three of his girls.

Terry Armistead, of Covington, passed away January 7, 2015, at the age of 62. A hard worker, Terry worked at Mobil Chemical for 20 years and was a tow truck driver with B & H Wrecker Service. Loving husband, Daddy, and Poppie, he adored spending time with his family. Terry never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Mae Mitchell Durden; father, Floyd Armistead; birth mother, Alice Mitchell Bales; and grandson, Zacharia Markus Dial.

Jeffery Keith Broxton, Sr., of Covington, passed away January 4, 2015, at the age of 56. Jeff was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church, in Eatonton, until his sickness prohibited from attending. He supported all church activities, but missions were closest to his heart. Once diagnosed with ALS, Jeff's main focus was leading as many people to Christ, as possible. He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather, who was a dedicated family man and always cared more about his family and friends than himself. Mrs. Reid was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to all. But most of all, she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a long time member of Grace Baptist Church. It was 1938, and with little fanfare the child was wrapped in a blanket and placed in the bosom of a loving mother. Ms. Thomason was an active member of New Life Praise Center, in Covington, and was a dedicated employee of Lithonia Lighting for 38 years. Following her work at Lithonia Lighting, she dedicated herself to caring for handicapped children. Ms. Thomason was a giving lady, and constantly gave of her time to help those less fortunate. She retired from Lilburn Middle School as the lunchroom manager in December 1994.
