William Herbert White of Oxford passed away October 22, 2014. He was born November 19, 1934 in Monticello, GA to the late W.A. and Lorene (Lewis) White. Mr. White was an Eagle Scout and a veteran of the US Army. He graduated from the University of Georgia School of Business as well as LSU School of Banking. He was a successful and respected member in the banking field, retiring after four decades from Main Street Bank. Mr. White was a long-time member of Allen Memorial United Methodist Church.

George (Stump) Cown, age 70 of Loganville passed away Jan. 30, 2009. Mr. Cown was a longtime member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church and was a member of Grayson United Methodist Church.
