Atlanta's airport to offer free Wi-Fi
ATLANTA (AP) - Officials at the world's busiest airport in Atlanta say free Wi-Fi will be available to travelers next year. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport announced Wednesday that it will first reduce the price of airport wireless Internet access to $4.95 a day effective Thursday. Then, officials say they will eliminate the fees entirely in the fall of 2013.
Nearly 1,300 drivers convicted of texting
ATLANTA (AP) - Fewer than 50 drivers a month have been convicted of texting and driving in the two years since a law to ban texting went into effect, state records show. As of mid-September, 1,281 motorists had been convicted of the offense since the state law took effect on July 1, 2010, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

Morehouse to furlough employees
