The Welcome Inn will soon be a memory. The building frequently seen on television in the late 80's on the NBC television hit series "in the heat of the night." Tadio Robinson with Enviro Masters told me he and his crew were there to remove hazardous materials including asbestos before the wrecking ball could do the rest. The complete destruction of the building should occur within the next week.
