The body of a man found on Clegg Farm Road just outside Social Circle Sunday afternoon has been identified as 38-year-old Robert Andrew "Drew" Nichols and four men have been arrested and charged in his murder.

Authorities have identified the person found dead in just outside of Social Circle Sunday afternoon as Robert Andrew "Drew" Nichols. His death has been ruled a homicide and four men – Michael Scott West, Chad Ashley Allen, Robert Vincent Lambert and Sam Dumas Dawkins – have been arrested and charged with his murder.

Social Circle rallies for Relay

Social Circle was abuzz on Saturday, doing their part in the battle against cancer. Throughout the day, there was live entertainment, horseback rides, a pumpkin auction and more to raise money for Relay for Life. The event was held at the Social Circle City Park. The funds raised during the day will be donated when the group goes to the main Relay for Life march, which is held every May.

Relay for Life in Social Circle

The city of Social Circle is rallying to help in the battle against cancer. They will be hosting a fall fundraiser on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. to benefit the American Cancer Society.

There will be live entertainment throughout the day, and there will also be entertainment for children. Games will be held throughout the day, and a bouncy house will also be up and running throughout the afternoon. Horseback rides will also be available.
