Around the well: Greatest Little City goes global, celebrates America

Shakespeare had a pretty dim view of life. For example, Macbeth described life as "a walking player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more." In Social Circle, however, we do a lot of strutting upon the stage, but the reverberations are loud and long lasting. For one thing, folks in our city are starting to think and act globally. For instance, Social Circle Primary School and Social Circle Elementary School are on the path to becoming candidate schools for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. Around the well: Social Circle residents resemble daffodils in April

Four city events produced record turnouts and more volunteerism than we have seen in a long time.

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 4 attracted 167 "hunters" and more than 400 attendees, counting parents, grandparents and friends. Under the auspices of the Social Circle Better Hometown Program, the Easter Egg Hunt was superbly ...
