Peachtree Academy expands

A brand new gymnasium, 24,000 square feet of classroom and library space and administrative offices were revealed during a ribbon cutting held by the Covington-Newton County Chamber of Commerce at the Covington Peachtree Academy school campus on Tuesday. Oxford Dean creates scholarship fund

Stephen Bowen, dean of Oxford College of Emory University, and his wife, Nancy, have pledged $100,000 to create a new endowed scholarship fund at Oxford. The Bowen Scholarship will provide need-based aid to sophomore students.
