Social Circle home moving to new location

It took about five years to get funds and to complete the process to move the 186-year-old home, said Mike Owens, owner of Magnolia Manor, the new location of the home. The Historic Preservation Society of Social Circle (HPSSC) had pledged $10,000 for anyone who promised to move and restore the home, which was a significant chunk of the fundraising efforts needed to make the move official.
