The Newton County Recreation Commission held its annual cheerleading competition Saturday at Alcovy High School. Four division champions were crowned. The Bulldogs took the Training League title, edging out a spirited effort from the Tide while the Seminoles captured the Division 1 championship in the second event of the day.
