A fight amongst family members ended with one woman arrested Saturday night after authorities from the Covington Police Department were called out to a home on Nelson Drive.

A day in the great outdoors: Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center's Wildlife Discovery Area in Mansfield hosted the 14th annual J.A.K.E.S. Day Festival on Saturday. Covington Fire Department to host ‘Fire House 5’ race
Covington Fire Department officials are organizing an inaugural "Fire House 5" 5K Run and a 1-mile fun run to benefit the Covington Fireman's Memorial Scholarship, which provides scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the Newton County School system, to be held on May 22. The road race will run the same course as the popular Covington Fuzz Run.
