Masked intruder injures grandmother

A 64-year-old grandma was knocked to the ground and injured when a masked man forced his way into her home Monday night.

Around 11 p.m. the woman was sitting with her 20-year-old grandson in the living room of her home on Morningside Drive when the doorbell rang. She went to answer it, believing it might be a family member, according to Newton County Sheriff's Public Information Officer Cortney Morrison.
