The National Action Network (NAN) gave out dozens of backpacks filled with school supplies Thursday evening. Cathlete Perry, NAN Youth Director, oversaw the backpack drive, under the leadership of NAN President Archie Shepherd.
This week, alone, two murders occurred in Newton County, and another person was killed in the city of Covington.
