Oct. 24, 1921: In the city hall of Chalons-en-Champagne, France, U.S. Army Sgt. Edward F. Younger, a highly decorated veteran of The Great War (World War I), is assigned to select only one of four caskets recently exhumed from four dissimilar American cemeteries in France. Each casket contains the unidentified remains of an American soldier. After thoughtful consideration, Sgt. Younger places a spray of white roses on one of the caskets.
Updated Wednesday, Oct. 23, 3:40 p.m. : Defendant Hannibal Wayne McMullen has been found guilty of all counts. McMullen has been charged of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, aggravated stalking, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Update Sunday, Oct. 20 10 a.m. : Troopers have cancelled the lookout for the vehicle involved in the collision with a pedestrian Saturday morning on Brown Bridge Road. The investigating trooper received information Saturday afternoon and identified the suspected driver. The vehicle believed to have been involved has also been located. Troopers will conduct interviews next week and charges in the case are pending the completion of the investigation.
