Flood warning issued for Newton County

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a flood warning for the Yellow River near Conyers below Milstead until this evening. At 10 a.m. Friday the stage was 10.9 feet. Minor flooding is forecast. Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
