Re-living the 80s

The Eastside High Chorus Show Choir will be presenting their Fall Musical Review, "Re-living the 80s," this Thursday. The show will take place in the Eastside High School Auditorium on Thursday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 19, at 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., and will cost $4 for adults, $3 for students and $3 for senior citizens. The show will feature the best of the 1980s music in an upbeat atmosphere.

Kiwanis gathering toiletries for Georgia Sheriff’s Youth Homes

Circle K Georgia, Kiwanis International's college arm, held its fall membership retreat Nov. 5 at the FFA-FCCLA Center.

Around 45 Circle K members attended the retreat, which provides an opportunity for the Circle K leadership to reach out to new members. The members participate in workshops and other activities. Circle K blends community service and leadership training, and, as with all Kiwanis organizations, aims to serve the children of the world.
