Irreverent fun in ‘Nunsense’

The New Depot Players' latest incarnation, "Nunsense," is a musical and comedic epiphany. Dan Goggin's well-loved and awarded classic has been updated with pleasing modern tweaks and a twerk. Yes, nuns and twerking were just used in the same sentence. The Little Sisters of Hoboken's escapades are divinely irreverent, but blessed with heart.

Welcome to your Weekend: That's 'eatertainment'

Not too long ago, a group of moms of young adult men were chatting over lunch when the conversation turned to -- no surprise here -- their children. All the young men being discussed are, thank the Lord, gainfully employed in fields in which their parents paid big bucks to get them college-educated. Though none of them has married yet, all are on their own, with their own apartments.

'Duck Dynasty' fans react to Robertson's hiatus

LOS ANGELES (AP) - When the A&E network suspended "Duck Dynasty" patriarch Phil Robertson for disparaging gay people, it may have followed a time-honored TV tradition of quickly silencing a star who, for better or worse, speaks his mind. But in doing so it also ruffled the feathers of possibly millions of fans of its most popular show.
