Rufus Junior Roberts

Rufus Roberts, 83 of Oxford, passed away February 17, 2016. Mr. Roberts was of the Baptist faith. He loved going fishing, vegetable gardening and camping in the mountains. In addition, he enjoyed football and stock car racing. Mr. Roberts never had biological children of his own, but was a father and grandfather to many. He was preceded in death by two wives, Edna Dalton Roberts, and Pat Moody; parents, Jessie McCord and Lucy Gary Roberts; sister, Inez Johnson; brother, Grady Roberts.

Deanna Franklin

Deanna Franklin of Covington, passed away January 24, 2016, at the age of 52. Deanna was a faithful member of Canaan Baptist Church and loved her church family dearly. She was a 1611 KJV Bible-believing, missions-minded Christian lady who loved presenting the Gospel and sharing Christ with others. She was a dedicated employee of AT&T for 31 years. Deanna always put others before herself, and will undoubtedly be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her father, Doyle Hensdill.
