Pet of the week - Nov. 20

Take me home: The Newton County Animal Shelter’s pets of the week are four goats, one chocolate billy, one brown and white nanny, one black and white nanny and a chocolate and black nanny. They are available for $25 each. Also available for adoption are three chow mix puppies, 8 weeks old; two husky mix puppies; a Chihuahua mix, 1 year old, brown; three adult beagles, all male; a Shihtzu mix, 2 years old, beige and black; a Pomeranian, 5 years old, black, neutered, very sweet; a Jack Russell mix, 10 months old; a terrier/Dachshund mix, adult; a chow mix, 10 weeks old, chocolate in color; a Malinois, black and tan; two Lab mix puppies, 8 months old; a jack Russell, adult; a Jack Russell/Dachshund mix; an 8-month-old mixed breed, yellow and white; two Australian shepherd mix dogs, one grey and black, another white and gray; a bird dog mix, white and black; an adult chocolate lab; a 3-year-old terrier mix; a black and white one year old Lab mix; and a 6-month-old brown and white mixed breed. The shelter has cats and kittens available for adoption as well. .
