Pet of the Week - Oct. 30

Take me home: The Newton County Animal Shelter’s pet of the week is a cocker spaniel, tan, 8 months old. Also available for adoption are a 3-4-year-old beagle mix; another beagle, I year old; a friendly Lab mix, 9 weeks old; three shepherd mix dogs, 8 years old; four hound/Lab mix puppies, 8 weeks old; a Lab mix, black, 8 weeks old; a Yorkie/beagle mix, 4 years old; a Dachshund mix, 8 months old, black and white; a cock-a-poo, 2 years old; a whippet mix; a shepherd mix; a Jack Russell, 10 months old; a very friendly husky, good on leash; an 8-month-old Lab mix, black and white, really needs a nice home because he had belonged to a homeless lady; a border collie, 12 months old, very friendly; a boxer mix; another Lab mix; five other Lab mix dogs; several mixed breed dogs; a Great Pyrenees with black collar. The shelter has nice cats and kittens available for adoption.
