Mrs. Carlee (Hays) Schoenfeld

Mrs. Carlee (Hays) Schoenfeld age 74 of Oxford died Thursday, October 22, 2009.  She was born November 20, 1934 in Brethitt County Kentucky to the late Clarence E. and Clara Mae (Fletcher) Hays. She was a member of  Abiding Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was very active until she got sick. She was claimed as God’s child through the gift of Baptism on July 27, 1975.  She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.  She loved to cook for her family.  She truly loved the Lord and raised her children to love the Lord.  Mrs. Schoenfeld is preceded in death by a daughter: Mary Catherine Gresham.She is survived by her husband: Mr. Fred R. Schoenfeld, Sr. of Oxford; children and their spouses: Raymond Kenneth and Cindy Hays of Newborn, Martha and Don Terrell of Oxford, Fred Richard and Renee Schoenfeld, Jr. of Newborn; sisters and brother-in-law: Lydia and Olen Lewis of Conyers, Joyce Kist of Stone Mountain; brother and sister-in-law: Sewell and Peggy Hays of Dawsonville; grandchildren: Stephanie and David Applebee, Jason and Karen Hays, Jamie Gresham, Josh and Karen Hays, Jennifer Gresham Robinson, Dane Terrell, Drake Terrell, Drew Terrell, Larry Schoenfeld; great grandchildren: Kylie Robinson, Jackson Applebee, Nicolas Applebee, Cole Hays, Hunter Hays, Benjamin Applebee, Maesyn Hays; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, sister-in-law: Alma Hays and many loving friends.The family will receive friends at Wheeler Funeral home from 3:30-5:00PM prior to the memorial service at 5:00PM on Saturday, October 24, 2009 with Rev.
